What's New: Full Category & SEO Sync
Category syncing got the same treatment as products - full catalog depth, real SEO data, and a way to verify it landed correctly.
- True Full-Depth Harvesting: Category trees now sync all the way to BigCommerce's own 8-level nesting limit, instead of stopping a few levels down.
- In-Place Updates: Renaming or re-parenting a category in BigCommerce updates the existing WordPress term - never a duplicate, never an orphan.
- Category SEO Sync: Page title, meta description, and keywords are pulled per category and applied straight to the page's title tag - compatible with Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, SEOPress, or no SEO plugin at all. Toggle it off anytime under Load Categories.
- Category Browser: A new diagnostic table showing every synced category - BC ID, path, product count, image, and SEO fields - with a synced/missing indicator so you can verify a sync actually worked.
- Cache-Proofed Sync Tools: Harvest and Load actions now explicitly opt out of page caching, so an aggressive cache plugin or CDN can no longer serve a stale "already complete" response instead of actually syncing.
