What is Account Auditor?
A WHM plugin that checks every cPanel account on your server and finds the ones you are probably paying a license fee for with nobody using them: accounts whose domains have moved to another host or expired, accounts suspended long ago, and accounts nobody has logged in to or changed in months. It also finds domains whose mail has moved away while your server still delivers it locally.
Will it delete or change anything on its own?
No. Scans are read-only. The only thing a scan writes is a short-lived random test file for the optional HTTP check on proxied domains, which is written as the account's own user and deleted straight away. Suspending, archiving, terminating and changing mail routing only happen when you click the button, and every action is logged.
Does it work with domains behind Cloudflare?
Yes. When a domain resolves to Cloudflare or another proxy, the plugin places a random test file on the site and checks whether the public URL serves it. That shows whether the site is really served from your server, whatever the DNS says.
Which WHM/cPanel versions are supported?
Account Auditor supports WHM/cPanel versions 100 and above running on CentOS 7+, AlmaLinux 8+, CloudLinux 7+, or Rocky Linux 8+. It needs outbound DNS (to the public resolvers you choose) and HTTPS (for registry lookups).
How do I install Account Auditor?
After subscribing, run the install commands from the Install Guide as root on your WHM server. The installer registers the plugin in WHM and schedules a nightly scan. Open WHM > Plugins > Account Auditor to run the first scan straight away.
Is it included in the Server+ Suite?
Yes. A Server+ Suite license covers Server Commander, Server Telemetry, Cluster Manager and Account Auditor on one server.
How does the subscription work?
Account Auditor is billed at $4.99/month with no contracts, and covers any number of accounts on the server. Your license is bound to your server hostname, and you can cancel anytime via the customer portal.
