Domain expiredThe registry says the domain has expired or isn't registered, or it no longer exists in DNS.
Pointed awayNone of the account's domains point at this server any more. The customer has moved hosts.
Long suspendedSuspended months ago and never cleaned up. You're still paying for the account.
DormantNobody has logged in, changed a site file or read an email in 180 days (you can change this).

How It Checks

A nightly scan runs in the background at low priority. Nothing on the server changes until you choose an action.

Public DNS, Not Your Own

Every domain, addon and parked domain is looked up on public resolvers. Your server's own DNS would answer from the zones it hosts, even after the domain has moved elsewhere.

Works Behind Cloudflare

When a domain resolves to a proxy or CDN, the plugin briefly places a random test file on the site (as the account's own user, the way AutoSSL does) and checks whether the public URL serves it.

Registration & Expiry

Looks up each domain in its registry over RDAP to find expired and unregistered domains, and warns you before a domain you host is about to expire.

Real Usage, Not Bot Traffic

Looks at cPanel and webmail logins, changes to site files, and email read over IMAP/POP. Bots hitting a dead site don't make it look alive, and neither do caches, logs or AutoSSL renewals.

Stuck Mail Detection

Finds domains whose mail has moved (to Google Workspace, Microsoft 365...) while this server still delivers their mail locally. Mail sent from other accounts on this server silently ends up in the old mailbox. Fixed in one click.

Safe Cleanup

Suspend, archive with pkgacct, then terminate. An account can only be terminated once it's suspended and has a finished archive, and you have to type its username to confirm. Every action is logged.
